scippneutron.conversion.tof.wavelength_from_Q(*, Q, two_theta)[source]#

Compute the wavelength from momentum transfer.

The result is the de Broglie wavelength

\[\lambda = \frac{4 \pi \sin \theta}{Q}\]
Parameters:
  • Q (Variable) – Momentum transfer.

  • two_theta (Variable) – Scattering angle \(2 \theta\).

Returns:

Variable – Wavelength \(\lambda\) Has unit ångström.
