ess.estia.resolution.angular_resolution(theta, L2, detector_spatial_resolution)[source]#

Determine the angular resolution of the ESTIA instrument.

Parameters:

theta (Variable) – Angle of reflection.
L2 (Variable) – Distance between sample and detector.
detector_spatial_resolution (Variable) – FWHM of detector pixel resolution.

Returns:

Angular resolution standard deviation
