ess.reduce.polarization.he3.direct_beam(data, q_range, background_q_range)[source]#

Returns the direct beam function without any cells.

The result is background-subtracted and returned as function of wavelength. Other dimensions of the input are preserved. In particular, the time dimension, corresponding to different direct beam measurements, is preserved.
