scipp.atan2¶
- scipp.atan2(*, y, x, out=None)¶
Element-wise inverse tangent of y/x determining the correct quadrant.
- Parameters
y (scipp._scipp.core.Variable) – Input y values.
x (scipp._scipp.core.Variable) – Input x values.
out (Optional[scipp._scipp.core.Variable]) – Optional output buffer.
- Returns
The signed inverse tangent values of y/x in the range [-π, π].
